I booked this for a girls weekend with my sisters to honor our mom who passed away 26 years ago. We wanted a relaxing stay and chose this hotel for its indoor pool, but it was closed! Nothing online indicated this. When I asked the desk staff, Nicole, she dismissed me and insisted it was on the website. The ice machine on our floor was out of order too. I had to go to the first floor and again, she had an attitude, but eventually, she got some ice for me. The window shades wouldn’t function. they were stuck in place, and the vault to store our belongings was frustratingly unresponsive. The next morning, breakfast was a letdown — the waffle machine was broken, and coffee was lukewarm. For $300, I expected much better. I enjoy nice views and tranquility, but the rooms really need maintenance and feature updates.

Most importantly, the breakfast selection included freshly baked pastries and a variety of options that catered well to my needs as a busy traveler.

during my stay, I appreciated the easy access to the Davidson County Historical Museum, which is just a little over 3 km away, making it perfect for a day of exploration. The nearby North Carolina Vietnam Veterans Memorial provided a reflective space that I truly enjoyed walking around.

Staying here with my family and 4 young kids was a fun experience! The indoor pool was fantastic for our little ones after a long day of exploring the area. Plus, the breakfast options gave us a great start each morning.
